The Tokyo Wagyu Show is on again this year and there are loads of stands selling regional wagyu dishes at reasonable street food prices but — this will be the most expensive street food ever! Still, it’s a lot less than a restaurant. What did we eat? 1) Kobe Wagyu Sushi $18 /1900 yen / 5 pieces 2) Akita Wagyu Dog $7 / 800 yen 3) Sirloin Wagyu Steak Cubes $9 / 1000 yen / 100g 4) Okinawa Wagyu Hamburg $16 / 1800 yen 5) Miyazaki Wagyu Garlic Steak $18 / 1800 yen We spent a total of 7000 yen ($65) on 5 dishes - not quite $100 but I'll go back for more later :) It may be the priciest street food in the world, but it's a great way to try so many dishes in one spot.
